Food In Fresno
One of my comedic pet peeves is when the ranch bottle is empty at the Whole Foods salad bar. I rant about it often to anyone forced to listen. But the ranch has been fine the last three times I have built a salad there, so I give them props with fingers crossed 🤞 for this streak to continue.
Day Hike Fresno: San Joaquin River Gorge
I finally did “The Gorge” last week - one of those area hikes I have been needing to check off my list. I used the Ya-Gub-Weh_Tuh trailhead. It’s pretty easy except that it’s HOT. Definitely a late Winter or early Spring hike, but still doable if you go in the morning. My quick video of the hike:

Yes, it occurred the night of the Pride parade, but there have been issues with mentally challenged people also. I’m a Component Coffee regular who’s witnessed some of the problems the staff have to address. In addition, I made a point of walking Olive this morning after the initial social media post. The Component building (which includes the yoga studio in the back) was the only one damaged. If this was inspired by Pride, I would expect other spaces vandalized too. Hopefully the motive will be determined.
