European people know how to drink beer. It’s a lifestyle and I’m pretty jealous of it.
Beer Halls are a thing over there. I can’t say I’ve ever been in one but they look really friggin’ sweet.
They are simple, but everything.
Good beer with pitchers and plenty of tables for seating.
A large wait staff coming to you so you don’t have to stand in line or try to get a bartenders attention.
A simple but really good food choice.
A fun, safe, musical and creative atmosphere.
I posted more about it over on my blog, but I believe one of these in Fresno would RAKE!
Not everyone agrees about the raking, but support the idea of it:
… Dan was referencing this place in Redwood City, btw.
I wouldn’t except it to be as large as an Oktoberfest Tent or something like that, but a large space could still work.
When you put a thing together right, Fresnans fill up a place and will wait an hour to get in.
I think a well put together beer hall would be popular as hell.
Let’s Go Newslettering!
I really loved the bits from this week’s Bandgeeeek. Especially the one about Gwen Staffani mentioning Fresno’s Kings of Ska, Let’s Go Bowling, and how No Doubt OPENED for Let’s Go Bowling right before “Tragic Kingdom” came out. And then after that became huge, Let’s Go opened for them.
Fresno Pic Of The Week!
… By the way, how has the Crest Theatre stayed away from the Church Virus that’s been ravaging old theaters? *knocks on wood*
I wanna thank you for the read - sorry for the brief post, my day job has been draining my creative force.
Keep being safe out there around town. Keep protesting those damn Adventure Church assholes.
