Sometimes when someone comes to visit me in Fresno (rare, but still), I feel like I should be taking them someplace fruity. You know, somewhere with fresh Valley fruit (and vegetables too, I suppose - although ick). You know, to show off Fresno’s bounty and junk.
I don’t really know where to go so nothing happens.
Welp, now I know where to bring them at least, since I found gofruittrail.com.
There are lots of cherries out there at the moment. Oh and the Gibson Store had their first Fresno State Corn release of the season so keep an EAR out 😏 for another batch.
Begin Your Mental Preparation
Don’t be mad but I had been wondering “When are we gonna get them 100-degree days going here?” (I am a very weird person) so I went to check what the weather is looking like the next couple weeks and…
I FOUND ONE! 💥 (several)
Yeah, boyyyyyyyy. Here we go. On the doorstep of ‘burning your feet on the sidewalk’ season!
And look at June 9th with the 60% chance of rain - that’s interesting too.
So yeah, start building your heat tolerance now, and I promise things will be fine.
Diamond Dogs!
I'm stoked to see the Fresno State baseball team finally back on the Road To Omaha (the NCAA tournament). No pressure but I am getting total Wonderdog vibes off this team. Good luck, dudes. They play Friday, at 6:00, against UC Santa Barbara.
Okay, thanks a lot for opening this up. Hope you have a nice week on a patio somewhere and I’ll talk to you later.

P.S. Totally not Fresno related but I have some ideas for you if you’re not sure what to get a dad for Father’s Day.
