Hey there.
Don’t be jealous but I got to have some asada tacos from Tacos Tijuana yesterday. They were delicious as always. I had four and it was not enough - I could have easily downed eight. Is that bad? I dunno.
It was packed and happening for lunch on a Tuesday. I had to eat in my truck as there was no place to sit. A true gem in SE Fresno.
It makes me think that Ventura might be the King Blvd for tacos. Like, not just Fresno but the country - when you factor in taco quality of that stretch of roadway, authenticity and atmosphere. 🤷🏻♂️
Also noticed a couple of new 7-11 gas stations going in… which is cool? I guess. One at Ventura & Cedar and Tulare & Cedar.

Some quick notes or links to some Fresno things I came across:
I have eaten a lot of Raising Cane’s chicken strips lately. I have guilt from eating chain chicken instead of local chicken. That damn Texas toast and Cane’s sauce influences my buy local morals.
Yosemite has added a webcam if you’re lookin’ to blast a nice view on one of your screens. I feel like bars & restaurants should be putting up more of these types of things on screens than just random sports networks.
Why is the new drive-thru Chipotle at Herndon & Brawley not slammed every day!? We love a drivethru. Even in the Taco Capital, we love Chipotle. Why have I not seen it super busy yet?! Maybe my timing is off, like with most things in life.
I saw a fox run across the road in front of me at 4:30 in the afternoon while I was driving down Fruit a little South of Shaw. It scurried off into some persons planter-bed. Thought I should share.
Outside of Mr. Speaker being in Fresno for a day, I don’t know what this was about, but shout out to Tad Weber (Fresno Bee’s Editorial Page) for having to deal with a Bakersfield snowflake:

Welp, that’s what I have for this one. Hope you got a little something from it. Enjoy you some Fresno. Thank you for the read!
