This finally answers the question “Will the Fresno Randy’s Donuts have a giant donut on top?!” At least one of them will have the one in that picture, anyway.
While it is hard to tell the scale, it looks significantly smaller than the original. But it’s something, and I started thinking there would be nothing. So cool.
Okay, enough donut talk.
Can Street Vending Be An Art Exhibit?
Regarding the ArtHop drama I just want to ask… Is there space for someone who doesn’t want the city shutting down vendors and all the “extra” that comes from ArtHop but who also misses the ArtHop that was just local art and free cheese?
If you haven’t seen, regulations have come for the vendor side of Art Hop and people are mostly pissed.
There is a petition to show support for street vending at ArtHop if you’d like to check it out.
Just Being Thankful The Tower Theatre Is For All of Fresno Again
It feels like we’re living in an alt timeline with the Tower Theatre and it’s an awesome one.
All the positive arguments we made for the Tower Theatre being a public venue that belongs to Fresno and not a church, have proven true.
Check out Joshua Tehee’s article that checks in on how well things are going for the theater and the Tower in general in the past year.
Thank. God.
And I would like to thank you for hopping in and reading.

P,S. Do cool blankets actually work? (asking for a friend that is hot at night…not me. I am totally fine in the heat, totallyyyyy fine and I handle Fresno heat like a champ.
Another cluster by the City. And a money grab. Arias is proposing a $14 per day fee for vendors. He’s also proposing changing it from a monthly to “biweekly” which makes no sense. I’ve always thought Arias an idiot and this confirms it.
It works. The price will make you sweat, but it works wonders.
