Yoooo Brotha Mike WTH is up with the script code? Is this something new? Maaaan just get out there and do it bro. Life is a trip and it can change in an instant. 3 yrs ago I was driving to work and I got hit by a drunk driver leaving me partially paralyzed from the chest down. My life changed forever. Dont take anything for granted (not that you do), and just live everyday to the fullest. I did the Blossom Trail last week and it was great. You're not going to get better weather.

I always tell out of towners that there's only 3 good months of good weather in the CV, that's the 1.5 months where it goes from HOT to COLD; and the other 1.5 months where it goes from COLD to HOT.

I wouldn’t mind checking out the pinball fest. Also I’ve been enjoying Russo’ pizzeria on Fowler and Shields. They have some fantastic meatballs for a topping. Also Me Ed’s Coney Island for a strip or two at the take out window is a treat.

MnE CI is the ONLY one I will go to because their crust is different. No cracker like crust with those grainy things on the bottom of it(I ALWAYS forget what its called).

Woah, a Me n Ed’s with a different crust?!

It’s cornmeal, I believe

Jeffrey Whitaker's avatar

YESS!! CORNMEAL!! Gosh I dont like that.

Usually they use corn meal. The Cony Island pizza crust is what you would get in New York. The funny thing is inside you get the regular Me & Ed’s unless you ask for Cony Island. Otherwise you get that style at the takeout window

I love that! I didn’t even know this. Good info!

New York style is my favorite. I had some pizza on the Jersey Shore that was the most simplistic pizza but it was perfect, still think about it sometimes 😄

Mark & Patti Clifford's avatar

That’s the best kind of SIMPLE. The other thing about pizza back east is they not only use gas, and wood. Some spots use coal.

YES YOU ARE CORRECT! I only get the NON cornmeal crust at the take out window. Love it. You got it! I was just in Manhattan couple months ago and got a slice at Joe's Pizza I believe it was called. Delish. The dough taste different they say its because of the air and water there.

I keep telling people you’ll never get a pizza like a true east coast pizza because of the air and water. Just like making sourdough bread. You can’t make San Francisco sourdough in Fresno because our eater and air is different. You can’t make Fresno sourdough.
