Every time I see her, I get nervous.
She is the little old Lady of Bullard (working title) that rides her bike down Bullard (from West somewhere), down to Palm and to wherever.
Complete with an adorable little dog in the backseat.
She is so perfect she almost doesn’t seem real.
It makes me nervous because it’s morning commute traffic. Filled with tons of drivers late to work, or school drop off. Garbage trucks pounding around every corner, water jug delivery trucks and everything else.
And there she is, methodically cruising around the Bullard area.
The Lady of Bullard is seen many mornings around 7:30, and she worries me all the time. We must protect her, NW Fresno. Please keep her safe.
Why No Sloppy Joes Truck, Fresno?
Over at Flowing with Famous this month, we got to talking about Fresno food trucks and Roque mentioned how he would like to see a sloppy joes truck
Really!? Nobody has a sloppy joes truck or does an elevated sloppy joes in a Fresno restaurant somewhere!? Get on this.
Speaking of simple but still should be a thing in Fresno, Mark over at Del Paggio’s Cucina makes us a fried bologna sandwich and comments on how nobody in Fresno is doing THAT either.
Fresno Pick This Weekend: Manhattan Short Film Festival
Of course, the big BIG big Fresno Fair has begun, so there is that. But I don’t hear about Creative Fresno as much as I would like, good to see they are putting on something Friday at the Labyrinth Art Collective:
Okay. I am going to let you go. I think next week we’ll be talking about the new Herndon & Veterans Blvd thing, more Fresno Fair, a show at Tioga Sequoia, and probably Taco Truck Throwdown.
-Mike (The Fresnan)
I'm agnostic about a sloppy joe truck, but does anyone else get irrationally angry every time they see the WTF food truck? "Where's The Food?" Really? That's your branding? I'm not meant to be intrigued by the style, format, or flavors of the food, but simply hooked by the idea that they HAVE "food?" Come on, man! It bugs me almost as much and as consistently as "Tactical Ops Brewery" whiffing on the world's most obvious hops pun.
I agree. She’s a breath of fresh air and seems to be completely living her best life. But I also worry about her safety. 🙏🏼
