On Christmas Eve, in the Bullard Area, starting around 9PM-ish, there were a lot of booms or exploding of things. Somewhere along the lines of fireworks or M-80s or whatever.
Couldn’t exactly place which direction it was coming from but it was happening.
So this is where we are at as Fresnans? Christmas Eve is like the Forth Of July and New Years Eve now? What the bloody hell!?
How big of a loser do you have to be to take the time to shoot off things on Christmas Eve!? I can only assume these are loud annoying cries for help.
The pops and exploding sounds have continued every night since. They even happened as I wrote this piece.
Why is nobody talking about this weird shit!? Oh, wait, finally:
YES! Me, I’m anyone!
The theories begin:
Nope. Too far from any major orchard and no thunderstorms lately. Next!
This is possible. But I know that sound as I lived near the UP Rail Yard off Weber for many years, it’s very close but not that sound. Anything else?
That is what it sounds like much of the time. I feel like that’s it - mixed with occasional fireworks and gunfire?
Does Fresno Have a GREAT Grocery store?
I figured it out over on the blog, it would appear that we have some good grocery stores but no GREAT grocery store.
You know like, a big, unique, local, really cool market.
Maybe we just aren’t big enough for that kinda thing yet?
Hey uhhh, you know we do feed the world, right? We deserve a GREAT grocery store that is all our own.
I’ll add it too my Fresno vision board.
Happy New Year, Fresno FRESNO!
I guess this is the last posting of 2020. I don’t want to remember this year for at least another ten years or so no “top things of the year list” here.
Just a thank you for reading this year. Hope you stick with me in 2021! Please be safe.
