What WAS That Thing Flying Around the Fresno Area?

And a CORRECTION from last week

Hi. So. I screwed the hell up last Saturday and said Porchfest was THAT Saturday when it’s actually THIS Saturday.

That’s good for me as last week I was too under the weather to walk around and have fun listening to Fresno’s talented as hell music scene floating through the Tower District air.

Floating Over Fresno

Did you see this helicopter flying around Madera and Northeast Fresno with this weird ass thing hanging below?:

I looked it up on my FlightRadar24 app and it gave no information other than it was a Airbus Helicopter - AS50.

Just thought it was a weird/fun thing to see. I saw it fly over North Madera late Monday morning then again flying over the SJ River & 41.

Speaking of flight radars, that night I noticed the Highway Patrol place circling and circling … and circling. It was making perfect circles in fact:

This isn’t a one-time circle an accident kinda thing either, the CHP plane seems to do this regularly at this time.

I dunno. I’m just being a dork. Another weird, sorta thing happening in the Fresno air. Maybe I should stop looking up so much. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🚁
