Coming To Fresno Would Be A Very Detroit Thing For Jack White To Do

Now that June is well over, let’s total up how many June Bugs I saw:

Alive: 2 Deceased: 2

Every year there seems to be less and less.

I would like to note we are crushing it on how we are dealing with the heat. Outside of the little bit of crabbiness we can all get when the 100s are aggressive, we good. Not a lot of people even talking about it, just enjoying life.

I really need Jack White to come to Fresno. Like, my soul wants him to. It feels like the right thing for me and for Fresno right now. Through my memory and research it appears Jack White (including The White Stripes) has never played Fresno. This saddens me. He is touring right now too and Fresno is not included. 😔

Eat it to the guys still blowing up mortar rounds after the 4th of July (hell, even during). What, are you a 13-year-old boy? You need to take a personal inventory. Sit down, figure out your shit. Lighting off mortar rounds and M-80s on July 11th tells me there is something wrong, bud. Get some therapy or reach out to a friend. Or me or whoever. I hear your loud cry for help, and I am listening.

I am happy for Fig Garden Fresnans that Uncle Harry’s is open in Fig Garden again. I will confess to have never really gone there historically. While I will eat a bagel if it’s the only thing there, I prefer not too as they are too dense. TOO DENSE I SAY! But, I am overdue to give Uncle Harry’s a try and I see it in my future.
