If you count Annex, Annesso is kind of already a chain. Best restaurants in town by far though, though Pismo's is pretty good too. Dutch Bros is for weird babies who drink milkshake coffees, imo, though I'm happy for them to enjoy their drive thrus and not clog up the 4-5 good coffee shops here.
That is true, and I almost put Annex there instead, but Annesso feels like it could be replicated elsewhere easier than Annex - but I definitely could be off there.
Calling where the new Dutch Brothers is Mayfair is a bit of a stretch. That site was the McLane Super Market for many years, so it would be more accurate to describe the area as the McLane neighborhood.
Mike, there’s been a tendency to expand neighborhood boundaries in town. Historically, the Mayfair District is the area bounded by McKinley, First, Clinton, and Cedar. It is part of the larger McLane High. Back in the day, the area surrounding Fresno High and FCC was not considered part of Tower District. The Tower was the neighborhood closest to Olive Avenue.

I always felt like Mclane was inside of the Mayfair District, the same
way Fresno High is inside Tower District and Bullard is inside Fig Garden.
But I have technically not lived around Mclane so I will default to you or any Mclaner.
